Bonnie Hammel Named Hopkins Rotary Club's "2007 Rotarian of the Year"

Bonnie Hammel, sales associate with Coldwell Banker Burnet's Minnetonka office, was named the Hopkins Rotary Club's "2007 Rotarian of the Year." Hammel has been an active Rotarian for 18 years, first with the Minneapolis #9 Rotary Club and then with the been a member of the club's Board and the chair of the Social Committee in which she organizes the club's scholarship awards events and the Rotary Taste West event that raises money for the scholarships.

Hammel specializes in residential real estate in Hopkins and the western suburbs, and in helping people with disabilities find accessible homes. Before joining Coldwell Banker Burnet, she was president of AccessAbility, a non-profit organization that assisted people with disabilities and vocational challenges find jobs.
