Bonnie Hammel has had great success in the field of real estate, much of it due to wide ranging interests and skills. Upon entering the field of real estate, she had just completed 12 years of great success as President on AccessAbility. While in that position she used her persuasive skills to convince the Minnesota Legislature to support bills that were necessary to the people served by AccessAbility. Prior to that she held high level administrative positions for the State of Minnesota.
She has been a Rotarian since 1989, first in Minneapolis #9. She is now a member of the Hopkins Rotary Club and serves on the Board of Directors as the Chair of the Social Committee. She also serves on the Program Committee of AccessAbility, Inc. She is also a member of Thursday Musical.
She is also a singer and continues as soloist and alto section leader in the Chancel Choir of Wayzata Community Church, a position she has held since 1989. Her vocal talents have also provided her the opportunity to solo with the Minnesota Orchestra, the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra and the Allegro Symphonia. Many people request her services for important moments in their lives including weddings and funerals.
Bonnie lives in the Hobby Acres neighborhood of Hopkins. She and her husband of 34 years have lived in this neighborhood for the past 16 years. Bonnie has lived in the Twin Cities since 1966 except for 6 years she and her husband lived in Mankato. She knows the community well and has many contacts that can be helpful to her customers.
